War in Srilanka and politics in India

The ethnic Tamil group in the Island Srilanka are suffering from an un ending war between the lankan army and the terrorist group LTTE. LTTE was once allowed to have camps in India and had open suport from Indian political leaders.Things changed after it killed the young leader Rajiv Gandhi against his Indo-Lanka deal. Now, it has only few support in India and that too not open.
Now, the war in Lanka is at its peak as the army is capturing all LTTE held positions in the North and North east ,it is trying to mobilise support from India especially Tamil leaders.
The politicians are also very quick to make use this as an oppurtunity to re-align themselves in Indian politics.
Indian government should realise that it can not intervene in internal politics of other countries. The Indian government should ask the Tamilnadu leaders to issue statements asking LTTE to surrender with its weapons and to prepare for negotiations with the Lankan Gov.
It has to clarify that the war is against terrorists who are unwilling to talk and who killed many tamil leaders who wanted peace.
So Mr.Karunanidhi , Dont threat UPA gov instead ask Prabhakaran to surrender.
Mr Rajabakhse can invite leaders like Vaiko from Tamilnadu to form a negotiating group to find a political solution to the never ending fight in the Island.
