What happened to much talked and discussed by the media and others about anna's lok pal movement. Has he achieved it. Why is he silent now. It seems the movement was only to unseat the then congress govt and it has been achieved. Anna's disciple kejriwal is also busy with his govt and extending its tail beyond Delhi. The social movement has to be lid up again to fight corruption everywhere. Each states in the country is affected by corruption. Hope lokpal and lokayuktha movement will be started up again to free the country from corruption.

Good idea to bring out the unaccounted money into mainstream. But it is impossible to replace the entire amount by 100 rs and 50 rs notes.Instead govt may give plastic cards with the value of 5000, 10000 which could be swiped or encashed with some limits.transferable cheques can also be considered.

But immediate action is needed to curb the cash flows between people without the knowledge of the govt.

The three mercy petitions of former Indian Prime minister Rajiv Gandhi killers was covered under the pillow of Indian govt for more than a decade.The authorities did not have a word on it for a long time due to political reasons.
And when the president takes a decision it is already late. The supreme court stays and advise the govt to consider releasing or diluting the punishment of  the convicts.
why it happened is because of the inaction of all the present and previous govt s.
Whether it is a soft corner on terrorism to release them is a question . But the govt should learn a lesson from it to take a correct decision at correct time .

Indian public hold lot of gold as unproductive asset in bank lockers. The government can buy the gold from the public or bring a interest yielding gold investment plan like fixed deposit in banks.

The invested gold can be made available for selling as per demand.

This is a solution to curtail large imports of gold. The sleeping Indian gold  should be awakened for the restoration of Indain economy. It is possible if given due diligence and right approach. Dr. Manmohan Singh and P.C and RBI should come out with a good plan to implement it sooner than later.

Now a days ,this happens to many cine producers. It implies that some films need no trailers, rather they should be screened straightly to the public and they will decide the fate of the film on their own instead by un social elements.
Also there is speculation that this could be an attempt by the film side to popularize the it. People are good judges and they could not be fooled by masala films for the sake of entertainment . We have seen it in the past.

This report suggest people dont care about their money being wasted in the name cultural festivals.
We have seen many people saying in US we are allowed to burn crackers the same people spends money mindlessly.
Crackers cause environmental issues health issues safety issues.Why dont the govt try to change the culture by strict enforcements like banning noisy crackers, 1000 walas,5000 walas etc .
People should be educated to celebrate festivals with peaceful ambience with music  dance and social gatherings.

Now after staling paliament for the resignations of some central ministers for so many days for the same demand, the BJP should have acted fast to solve the issue by asking the resignation of Kadkari.

Petrol price hike is affecting common people as bomb shell. Unacceptable,mindless govt doing this without reducing its income from sales tax and VAT.Tax must be calculated from a fixed price of Rs 40 or something.
The opposition parties like BJP,communists are just watchdogs.do nothing for the people.

ULIP policies are bad

ULIP policy has no value in the long run.Instead one can buy a basic term insurance package for any amount and go for ELSS schemes for tax saving and investment. It has low costs associated with it and can get back your money in a shorter period of time without loosing your money a lot.
Insurance is different from saving .clubbing both creates confusion.

Threat letters to Jayalalitha

Can any one believe that Ms Jayalalitha is getting threat letters from unknown persons ,unknown place but noting his name and his boss's name (Mk Alagiri).
Its only a stunt to get popularity to her madurai rally.
Even Karunanidhi has threat to his life. Infact all popular figures are in the list from the jihadi terrorists all over india.
Their aim is to create panic among people and want confusion in the country. But the letters received by Jayalalitha is of no importance and the CBI is asked for investigation.
what a country India is.
My request to Jaya is pls ignore these things and concentrate on people's problems.Many expect change of government.People are tired of freebies.They want real performance not inflated one.

Commonwealth games will it be smooth?

With corruption ,negligence,complacency,irresponsibility every one raises their eyebrows whether CWG will be held in a smooth manner.If everything is messed up ,be it infra constructions ,financial dealings, theme song how would one believe CWG is being conducted for pride.
India is not producing atheletes of world standard since there is no basic infrastructure for their training then why India has opted to host the games.The money spent (about 35000 crores) is a huge amount.It is shame that Suresh Kalmadi & co did not understand the importance of hosting CWG games.
These people should be given utmost punishment for their inability to save India's Pride to the outside world.

Rahul Dravid Please make a decision

Mr.Rahul Dravid Are you convinced with your recent performance. Not upto the mark.You have no right to occupy the chair for a long time when many are waiting for that.
Come out gracefully rather others will take the decision.
No doubt you are a good player but you have served the country for a long time.Steve waugh ,Murali,Mark Taylor all have set an example when to quit.Pls follow them.

Business loss would be atleast 10000 crores thru out the country because of the bandh.What is the net result.
The opposition should be united till the government is forced to reduce the taxes on fuel products by raising the issue at parliament and in public domain.
Manmohan completely failed to be the people's prime minister.He is the PM of Indian and MNCs.
The state and central governments should not be allowed to earn windfall profits by taxing on fuels whenever price increased.Lets have zero tax policy on fuels to run the country.

Here is a suggestion: The citizen can be allowed to enter his details thru' on line web site.There after a offcer can come and verify the details either directly or any other means like authenticating thru post.I think atleast 30% of population would be covered this way and the rest can be taken directly.

Women's Reservation bill passed - consequences

After a long struggle the bill has been passed in Rajya sabha of Indian parliament with a thmping majority. Now it has to go thru Lower house of the parliament and similar bill has to be passed by the state assemblies after which the 33% of the seats are reserved for the women.
Okay,Women can feel happy about the news.The sitting male MPs are little bit worried about their political future.But it may not be true.
It is doubtful if an ordinary woman can get a ticket to contest in Indian democracy.You need to spend crores of rupees to be in politics( ofcourse you can take it back with in few years).
So who are going to be the benefeciaries?. They are the wives ,daughters and relatives of sitting male MPs.
We know how the husbands of local body members are influencial at panchayat levels. In India no woman at any level ,is free from their family commitments.

But, we have done our moral job to give equal rights to our women.
It is upto women to effectively utilise their oppurtunity and work for the betterment of the country.

Expectations on UPA Govt and Manmohan Singh

After initial drama from DMK to give outside support to UPA govt, now it seems hurdles are cleared for Manmohan Singh.Unlike 2004, no ally can blackmail Manmohan because the Congress has got a clear mandate from the people to rule India for the next 5 years.
The real agenda for the govt will be putting economy on the track and insulating Indian economy from global turmoil. Creation of more jobs and safeguarding existing jobs will be the priority.
No doubt infrastructure and manfacturing will be the focus. E-Governence should be fast implemented.As promised by the PM the unaccounted swiss money should be brought back .Agriculture need to be re looked as SEZ s are spoiling the farmers and their future.
People expect from Manmohan a Governence free of scams.Populist schemes are unavoidable but reason should prevail as in the case of loan waiver to farmers.Still there are doubts on who are the beneficiaries.
